Our Falanghina has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Falanghina proposes to smell a rich bouquet of intense and persistent perfumes characterized by delicate floral notes with hints of ginestree, a Mediterranean flower. Followed by fruity notes of banana, green apple, pear and in some cases gradually fade into a floral and citrus background. It has a dry, fresh, soft taste with good acidity. Generally good persistence, sometimes with bitter but pleasant memories of pomegranate.
Food pairing:
Very elegant when paired with Mediterranean dishes as appetizers, rice and pasta with seafood, vegetable soups or soups with mushrooms. Among the serving dishes it recommended with grilled or fried fish with delicate sauces, shellfish but also white meat. Very pleasant with soft paste cheese or young goat's cheese.
